It is May 2022...this is still an issue. I originally used a verizon.net email which no longer exists. Verizon dumped their residential email. Gone. No more. I cannot possibly reset an email that is no longer supported or exists. I've called EA support multiple times and spent hours speaking to them via online chat and the phone. No help at all. They keep telling me to call the provider even though I keep explaining there is no provider for that email anymore. They are willing to do nothing. I cannot play EA play games or any other EA game that I once played and was connected to that account. I attempted to get creative on my own so I started a brand new EA account under an email address that I just made for Gmail. I did went to xbox.com an added that email as an alias and once that was done I made at the primary. Now my Xbox console shows that new Gmail address and I have an EA account that is also linked to that new Gmail address. I thought I had fixed it however no... the games on my console still associate with the old email. I even deleted the game on my console and all saved data including cloud and data and then reinstall it and it's still links to the old email
