Engine Error: CreateTexture2D crash to desktop

Have been running into this issue since yesterday. It can happen doing any activity, at any time in the game, from initial drop to spectating after death. I have seen other posts with the same error ...

    So I seem to have fixed this issue for me. I had to increase the amount of virtual memory my computer used for the drive Apex was installed on. I followed the instructions found here:

    I had to set it pretty high; minimum 15000 MB, maximum 30000 MB

    Have not had the issue since. Hope it helps someone else.

    I hope someone can look at this because I feel 19 - 20 GB of virtual memory usage is way too high.

Do you get this error if you turn off Nvidia ShadowPlay and then right-click on Apex Legends in Origin and select "repair?"

    Hello Blueberry and thanks so much for the fast reply. Shadowplay is always turned off but I have not tried the repair option yet. I will give it a go and reply later if it cleared up.
