Error Code CE-34878-0 only on Apex Legends

Kofi is my great friend and he needs help.

Every time he starts up Apex on his PS account (ToTheJay), the application crashes with the error code CE-34878-0.

The strange thing is, when he logs into a different PS4 account, i.e. his brother's account, Apex starts up just fine.

We've even tried logging into his account from my PS4 - Same crash result. But when I'm on my PS4 account, Apex works. So this is definitely an account specific issue.

Yes, we've looked up the error code and saw that it was common, tried all the suggestions like adjusting settings, etc. He even rebuilt the PS database.

The suspicion is that it's bug due to being part of a club.

My friend reached out to EA Support and asked to be removed from the club but they said "We don't have a way to do that you have to contact Playstation for a refund" like wtf???

Are there any devs out there or anyone else who has ran into this with suggestions? Any help is appreciated!!!
