EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION(read):FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

This was my first crash since the 1.1 udpate, and third crash ever.

Description: Crashed to desktop while running around as Caustic.

Extra info: I had Octane selected as my Legend (unintentionally), and after my friend picked Octane, I was randomed to Caustic.

My PC was running as it usually does when playing Apex and I had no more than the normal background programs running.

The log makes it sound like my CPU was involved.

Go to your Nvidia Control Panel and Windows Power Settings and set it to max performance. Try rolling back your video card driver and then re-download the latest one again.

Perform a clean boot and then immediately launch Origin/Apex Legends as administrator. Let us know how that works out.

@xrnadnax Please let me know if you have done the following:
1. Update all your drivers
2. Update your bios

Also let me know what build of Windows you're using and if you have any antivirus running (if yes tell me the name of it)

thanks for your reply. Because of the crashes I did the following yesterday:
- I flashed my bios of my z370 extreme 4 board
- I formated my c disk drive and installed a Fresh win 10 pro with all updates
- I installed my board Drivers, taken from the asrock Homepage (so the latest ones)
- I installed the nvidia gpu Driver
- I installed origin
- I installed Apex

My Win10 is 1909 build 18363.535

I just use the win 10 anti virus and firewall, nothing else

I also tried the following adjustments:

- run origin and/or Apex als Admin
- repairded the anti cheat for Apex with the easy anti cheat Setup
- repaired Apex via origin
- turned off origin ingame
- put Apex into my exceptions in the Windows anti Virus and Firewall
- reduced my graphic settings to low
- i played Apex in the win7 compability mode
I am not overclocking
But the game still crashes, this is 1 Min ago:

@xrnadnaxDid you have any crashes on an earlier build?
I know many users thats been crashing using win 1903 and 1909 build

Also can you tell me your grapfic settings ingame?
Send me a print on them, if you're able to get in.
also tell me what gear you got and internet connection

In Season 1 i had no crashes, but i dont know which Windows build it was. Maybe 18xx or 1903.
i skipped Season 2.
In Season 3 i just had some disconnect Pop ups after a match, but that was fine for me. But Right know it crashes during the game.
Here are my screens of my Video Settings. But remember, i also set the Video Settings to low etc. but the game still crashed.
i got an 200mbit Internet Connection.
What you mean with gear? My Desktop? 8700k, GTX1080, z370 extreme4. Samsung SSD gskill ram
The Setup is the same as when i started playing Apex and i had no Problems at the beginning.

And 1 Server disconnect this time too
