Hi guys,
I posted this onto the subreddit but figured I'd crosspost to here after seeing Jayfresh's post:
Bit of a strange one and no huge deal as it's not exactly a lot of effort to just hit ALT+Enter, but I'm not sure why it's occurring; I'll open the game and it's in windowed mode, I have Fullscreen selected in settings already, but I have double-checked as well, I ALT+Enter and it goes to fullscreen and the next time I open it, it'll be windowed again.
More of a nuisance than anything else, any suggestions welcome, cheers!
With your game closed go into game properties (by right clicking apex in the origin launcher), and under advanced launch options type "-fullscreen"

That is not fixing by the way. At least didn't work for me
Yeap because that solution doesnt solve the problem from the ground . You must force the game to always starts in fullscreen mode .
