Extremely high ram usage
Hello everyone, I recently started playing this game in early February and fell in love with it. However, a few days ago there seemed to be an update, and after updating, my APEX game started experiencing lag. After a while, it would eventually crash, and the reason was excessive memory usage. Upon restarting the game, I noticed that the memory usage would continue to accumulate the longer I played, reaching a maximum of 12GB, even back to the lobby, the ram usage won't low down. This has raised several concerns for me. Since I started playing in February, I have always set the graphics details to the lowest settings, and I never experienced any crashes until now. The crashes are now happening quite frequently.
I have already tried the following:
- Deleted the C:\Users\user\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\assets folder, but it didn't work (suggested on Reddit).
- Disabled texture streaming budget (even though my graphics card is a 2070 with 8GB VRAM), which prevents further memory accumulation, but the graphics quality is terrible.
I would like to ask the community if anyone has encountered similar issues.
