Fps capped at 144

After reading the patch notes and playing this game for a couple weeks in over 200 FPS I don't know where to turn for info on how to fix the issue of being capped at 144-145 frames while playing Apex Legends, "Capped PC FPS to 300 to balance improving stability but still letting you folks enjoy those sweet frames." Is a quote from the patch. I wouldn't mind being uncapped or at 300 frames, but that isn't the case, my frames were uncapped before the patch because i have a 240 hz monitor and I like using it. I don't know if this is an unintentional issue but it is a frustrating performance issue. Every fix that I had found for this pre-season 1 is no longer working so I don't know if its something Respawn can fix but right now I'm not enjoying any "sweet frames"

    Hey all!

    This is currently a in-game bug and is being investigated.

    "In the last patch we made an update with the intent to cap frames at 300 if players bypassed the default 144 frames per second. This introduced a bug that capped frames to 144 regardless if players uncapped it or not. In the next patch we’ll be fixing this so the cap is 300 as intended."

    Dman i post on this forum the same issues wtf with 144hz screen its from 2015 wake up EA

    I'm still waiting for a fix on this as well. Support told me they are aware of the issue and it should be patched " soon " but no official announcement about this anywhere.

    yea seems awfully long to take on something like this, they are probably trying to release multiple fixes on different things at once which is kind of annoying

    respawn has confirmed that 144 cap is a bug.. maybe try +fps_max 0 or +fps_max unlimited launch commands.. I have a 1050ti so i dont get anywhere near those fps values so i cannot really talk out of knowledge

    -forcenovsync

    None of these commands works anymore. So they've probably revmoved the possiblity, or it's a bug.
