7 years agoHey, @Huntinwabits, make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.
You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Apex and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

I have the same issue. The game was running super smooth back when it launched, but now it's absolutely terrible. FPS before was on constant 144hz now it drops all the way down to 80 for no reason. I lowered all my graphics settings to low and the problem persists. It doesn't even give me an extra FPS when I go from "Insane" to "low" my graphics card doesn't even run above 30% which must mean that the problem is in the game. It's lagging, stuttering and dropping frames left and right.
