FPS drops on console

is old gen systems going to get fixed I play on console quite a bit and I am dropping frames on a regular basis this has to be fixed or take the old gen completely off and worry about next gen its

a joke that a system cant hold close to 60 frames and when is 120 frames coming to next gen?
