Constant micro-freezes in-game. I have been suffering from persistent micro-freezes while playing Apex since at least middle of last season (was hoping new season update might fix them). They happen every game, server makes no difference. They can happen at any time but very often when opening pills, turning around suddenly, rounding corners, player appearing on my screen, arc star/nade effects, or effects when player is knocked in front of me. They occur every 10-30 seconds, are very annoying and have resulted in quite a few deaths. Although freezes are sometimes accompanied by red prediction error symbols, very often there is nothing to indicate a problem, no fps drop, no choke/loss etc. Some games the problem seems a bit worse than others, however it never goes away completely.
Things I've tried. Problem has persisted over last 3 NVidia driver updates, clean installed driver each time. Verified files. Completely clean installed Apex on steam, and also installed Apex on Origin to completely different drive. Tried wide combination of graphics settings (high/low/Reflex on and off etc). Tried turning off all background processes. Run game with each memory stick removed one at a time in case of memory errors (unless both memory sticks are malfunctioning it isn't that)
This problem suddenly started happening about six weeks or so ago. Never had the problem prior to that in Apex. No other FPS games seem to suffer from comparable freezes - Doom Eternal runs smooth as butter.
System - GTX 1080ti, 32Gb ram, i9 9900K (no OC), Aorus pro Mobo, game running off SSDs.
