Game crashes to desktop without error: July 27-2022 patch

Hi all, After a small patch of 450 MB today via steam, Apex is crashing after 1 minute after launch. It doesn’t matter if I’m in the menu, firing range or in a game it crashes to desktop regardless. ...

try this.

worked for origin/steam

- go to C:/Windows/System32/drivers

- make a new folder ( doesnt matter ehat the names are)

- cut all files from /drivers to the new folders u just created

- continue for all, if u dont have the permission skip

- open apex

I dont know what cause this annoying issues but at least for now i can play apex after doing all the step above

Hopefuly ea team gonna fix this issues soon

@lasop123 Seems dangerous, but I'll check that solution out if EA doesn't provide a fix in a few days.

Forgive me for my ignorance. When you say cut all files, do you also mean folders and everything inside them? Basically making the Driver folder only have 1 folder with everything inside it?
