I did a manual install of KB4534310 and could now start the game but have microstutter.
I just want to elaborate on my microstutter, for me and kid that are on a diffrent rig with same issue is that the stutter is more of a small freeze every 10-15 seconds, regardless if in main menu or in game.
A guess is that the anticheat software now do either a report/question over the net or a file integrity check every 10-15 seconds and uses some system resource in a blocking way for apex exe, just that small hang thing at least should be a easy fix and maybe that also could be a crash reason depending on version of the op. I do have a lot of years in the software area.
I just tried a few rounds now and did now observe that in the main menu just moving the mouse left to right make the character "jitter" while doing it, add to above info.
non of the solutions mentioned worked for me, waiting for devs response

Is there any log on the PC of what Easy Anti Cheat does? If it blocks you because it found a file in its blacklist of "cheater files"?
No, because then we'd be able to troubleshoot.
I bet a lot of us have some file that EAC has determined (possibly mistakenly) is a cheater file, and so it's blocking us.

Doesn't Fortnite use EasyAntiCheat? Can someone who is having this problem and has Fortnite try it out to see if it has trouble with Fortnite? Or some other game using EAC?

@Arne99 The microstutter that you describe that you are experiencing seems to be the same that I am experiencing. Like I said, I can get in the game and it doesn't crash me out. But when I move the mouse it causes the game to stutter, or pause. Even in the loading screen and front lobby. Matter of fact, I can move my mouse fast in a circle and get the game to pause or "lock up" as long as I'm moving the mouse. Once I stop moving the mouse, it unpauses and goes back to normal. The keyboard doesn't cause any problems for me.

As an extra effort to gain some traction on the game crash matter many AMD users experience, I suggest to visit the AMD support center and ring some bells there, too.

For a few days now, my game has been crashing every time I start a match. I've tried all troubleshooting options on this page: (I play on PC)
Apex Legends - How to troubleshoot crashing in Apex Legends (ea.com)
None of these issues have worked for me, unfortunately. I'm desperately asking for help! This game is fun, and now I can't play it.
I'm not entirely sure how to attach my dmp file, so I apologize.

So my only option to play this game again is to switch from amd to nvidia? is that a real thing?
