Game Freezing at game start
Hi, I got this problem yesterday when I tried to start a game.. Everything went as usual but after a couple seconds in the dropship the game completely froze and I had to force quit. I played apex with no issues the day prior and I have no idea what the problem is. When the game freezes no other apps are affected. I have no issues when I play in the firing range. After many attempts it seems like the issue is something regarding the loading of the map/player models because the freezes always happen between the loading screen after "champion squad" and I never later than when the drop countdown goes to 00 (I'm guessing because people drop then and my computer has to load their models).
I tried to run CS:GO and I got some issues there as well, however this time it came in the form of periodic lag. However I ran cs today and got no issues (I only tried deathmatch)
I have tried to lower my graphic settings (including turning off v-sync and changing from fullscreen to borderless etc.) with no luck. I have also updated my graphics driver to the newest and updated windows. I have no idea what to do next. Please help.

Since yesterday my game freezes just when the countdown finishes for the dropship. I get no error messages and I need to force a shutdown of Apex Legends.
I have tried all the solutions that you have done as well, but to no avail. I even uninstalled and reinstalled both Apex Legends and Origin, but it didn't help. This is so weird since I had no problems at all the day before yesterday.
My two friends that I usually play with could play the game without problems yesterday though.
I also tried the repair function, but it didn't help. I hope they can fix it soon.
