Don't disable your cores guys it's not worth it. I went into my bios and turned my power mode from normal to maximum performance mode/all guns blazing, but I am not overclocking. I have not been disconnected even after finishing multiple games (played for 2 hours, even picked up a win thanks to game not crashing out after 22 mins of pure combat) this is not a solution of any kind I've just noticed drastic reduction in crashes since doing this.
Edit: it's been several hours without a crash
Tried reducing number of cores to 4 through msconfig. Got myself super stable menu (before that it froze all the time) and managed to play for about 45 minutes(3-4 games consecutively) before game instacrashed in the middle of the match. No warnings, no freezes just pop and it's gone.
- 7 years agomsconfig edits will not work. You need to do this from the Bios or wait for EA to fix it. This also worked for me.
NO FREEZING
NO DISCONNECTS
And the game ran perfect 60 FPS at 3440x1440 everything maxed out. on a 1060 6GB.
