Game graphics

Hey, I just downloaded the game apex legends and at first I would've thought that i'd have a blast but, my fps sucks, it was hitting 15-20, I have a Acer Nitro 5 laptop with a gtx 1050 Ti and i5 8th gen, and I looked over at the requirements and recommended and I know that I exceeded the recommended setting, is there any way you can help me. Maybe the game's barely released and alot needs to be fixed but, I really want to be able to play the game, I don't have any concern,. with the game because it's really good, just the way the graphics are set up for me. I'm able to go to 1280x780 (the highest I believe). I just need help alot. I want to look forward to enjoying this game, and playing titanfall, I know this is going to be really good. Thank you very much.
