I have tried reinstalling the game and repair the game, but still Apex legends would still froze in the start of game, sometimes even in legends select. (Game was fine on the main screen, was able to open crates and view all other stuff and training ground was fine as well). This only happen when i start playing online multiplayer.
I’m having the same issue on PS4. The game turned into a slideshow every one of ten games.
It happened a lot yesterday on JP servers.

which shows this page https://gameserverping.com/apex over the course of a minute or so. You can see the ping fluctuating between a perfectly normal reasonable 33ms and a ridiculous 3-400ms... and sometimes the spikes are higher than this even reaching 6.. 7.. 800ms or more.
I think the only explanation for this can be my ISP and congestion of the service, and nothing with either my PC, software or home equipment. These wild fluctuations seem to me to indicate that my ISP is simply trying to pass too much data through it's servers which is leading to congestion and slowdown. It's quite obvious my PC + router is capable of achieving the required 30-40 ping because you can see it in the video, however that isn't being maintained.
Do you happen to know there's ANYTHING else at all which could cause this behaviour I can try to correct myself?
