Hello! I managed to fix the problem by changing from windowed borderless to fullscreen which is a slightl inconvenience but im not bothered, thank you for your response.

Have you had the chance to try repairing the game to see if that makes any difference?
If you're using Origin you can right-click on Apex Legends in your game Library and click the Repair option when the menu pops up. If you're using Steam try verifying the integrity of the game files to see if that helps. For more info on how to verify the file integrity check out the Steam Support website.
