Gift card redeemed but no coins received

i already redeemed my gift card on the EA app for apex legends but it says it's already been used but there are no coins in my account. Yes I've tried to switch from steam to the EA app game and it...

I bought a $10 apex legends 1000 apex coin giftcard yesterday and redeemed it on the ea website. Now, more than 12 hours later I have no coins. I've launched the game multiple times on both steam and ea as well as on another pc. I've re-entered the code which didn't work and there's nothing else I can do. Please help

    Hi @Sauc3_On_100ms, 

    If the code was accepted on the EA account, it should be registered there. Can I double-check something real quick? Do you play Apex on PC from the same EA account?

      Thanks for responding. Yes, I do play apex on pc on the same ea account but on steam because it's linked. If you're asking if I play throught the ea launcher, then no I only use steam.

        I had this issue. Downloading the game through the ea app, launching it, then getting to the lobby will make the coins show up to which you can play on steam after. Sucks, but most likely the only way you will see those coins.
