Got and email saying my account is banned. But nothing in Bad History.

Hi, I haven't play Apex in like 18 months. But yesterday I decided to reinstall it. (But didn't even open the game.) Today I received an email saying,

We noticed that your EA account broke EA’s gameplay rules.

Because your account was cheating, we’ve permanently blocked your access to Apex Legends’ online features.

So, I clicked My Ban History to check what's going on, but it's saying 'No History. You currently have no Ban/Suspension History to display.' . Can someone explain this?

Account bans aren't really something we can help with here on Answers HQ, I'm afraid. If you haven't already, please reach out to the Terms of Service team so they can take a look at your account.

@EA_Kent Hi, No. I just want to know why my 'Ban History' section is empty, even after getting that email. I think I need that info even to set up a case.

I know in some cases it can take some time for the ban to update on the website. If you don't see it right away, it may just take a bit for it to appear.

Same thing happened with me as well. I have contacted the service team but I’m not getting any info on that. It’s been a month and my ban history doesn’t show anything & when I try to play the game banned notifications gets popped up.

@PiwPie This has happened to me as well. Haven't played in maybe half a year but for some reason I'm banned?

It sounds like someone other than yourself may have accessed the account while you weren't using it. I'd recommend getting in touch with the EA Help team when you've got a chance so they can take a look.

It happens with me as well. even after contacting EA support team it didn't matter. they are like, nothing can be done, even if its not you whos cheating.
I don't understand why guys like us whos just playing game for fun gets banned and the people who actually cheats, nothing happens to there account whatsoever.

I also got banned with no reason 2 days ago, have a email saying my account used cheats and thats a lie. and seeing so many ppl complaining about the same makes us wondering, something must be causing this and EA or Respawn need to check it. They cant just ban and dont worry, i sent them a ticket, still waiting any response

@Goenitz82I have literally come across this thread, I have not logged into my Apex account for over 12 months, I got an email to say i was found cheating? well thats funny because I havent logged in. I had to literally reset my password to gain access to "my ban History" yet its empty like above.

I dont even play the game at the moment so not too bothered, but I am bothered in the sense I have spent money and have packs, plus one of my friends actually plays regualrly and i may want to play it someday with him, which is actually the last time I played apex over 12 months, yet I see people cheating blatantly on youtube all the time....now I have to wait 30 days for a reply apparently..

Edit: I got the email literally today out the blue btw

Yes!!! me to i dont know why i m banned. I so angry.
