Help unlink PSN account

I was trying to link my PlayStation account to EA from FC 24. 

I got this message saying that it already has another account linked to it, which is an old playstation account that I don't have anymore. 

Then I tried to unlink the current account, but it's like it's not even linked, which is weird considering all the other platforms I linked are correct.

So I can't unlink the old account and when I try to link the new one it says I already have a linked account. It's an impasse.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hey @zPromethean,

    An EA account can only ever have one of a particular type of account linked to it in its lifetime. So since you've already had an old PlayStation account linked, you won't be able to link a new one (although you can always relink the old one again).
    Unfortunately I can only really recommend making a new EA account and linking your PlayStation account there instead.

    Hey @zPromethean,

    An EA account can only ever have one of a particular type of account linked to it in its lifetime. So since you've already had an old PlayStation account linked, you won't be able to link a new one (although you can always relink the old one again).
    Unfortunately I can only really recommend making a new EA account and linking your PlayStation account there instead.

    i logged into EA using one email, it by default logged into my other email account
    i tried multiple times it keeps logging into a different email account despite im using a different email address to log in

    once i am logged in i cannot unlink a account that isnt even there
    so its basically got 2 emails permanently stuck to apex 
    and ive never even used 1 of them on a consol i only played pc gaming

    i dont understand why i cant speak to a support to actually solve this

    I have a similar problem. My psn account seems to be linked to an old EA account. The old EA account is attached to an email address that was deactivated years ago. The address no longer exists.

    My psn account doesn't even show this EA rubbish as a service it can link to.

    So how am I suppose to play this game online with my friends? Or have I just wasred my money?

    this seems to be a common issue. I've just bought FC24 and hadnt logged into EA account for years since i last played Fifa19 on PS4. It seems my PS4 ea account automatically transferred over to PS5 but its locked me out saying I havent logged in in a long time. Everytime I try to reset the password it tells me the email has been sent but I dont receive anything. I'm basically stuck in a catch 22 where I cant unlink my PSN account from EA account and I cant create a new account to link to my PSN account because its already linked to EA. Is there anyone that can help me? FC24 is pretty useless without being signed into EA

    Having the same issue, can't sign in to my EA account and there is no option to unlink my PSN from that old EA account. EA help is absolute trash.
