How can I remove a crossplay friend?

I got a friend request from someone with my username but with slashes in between letters. I accidentally hit the button to accept the friend request. Is this something I should be concerned about? It seems really suspicious and because I am on Xbox and the user was on PC, I cannot find how to remove them. I've checked my steam and origin accounts and I have no friends by that username.
