Where did the issue occur? Loading into the match from the lobby
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Dropship
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Waiting to drop.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Occurs every match
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Every day for the last 2 weeks.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? The game becomes unresponsive and freezes indefinitely. The only way to exit the game is through the Task Manager. This issue occurs when the game transistions from legend selection to dropship or a few seconds into the match.
What should be happening instead? The game should commence as normal.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? - Launch game - Select any game mode - Join match - Select legend - Watch it crash
This issue started occuring out of the blue. I never had any issues playing before and I have been playing regulary since launch. Since it's appearance it occurs 100% of the time and prevents me from playing. No hardware nor software modifications were made with this pc prior to the issue occuring.
The bug is related to anti-cheat:
- If I immediately shut down my pc, I get the attached error message.
- Also, deleting 'EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll' in the Apex Folder fixes the issue but of course causes me to get kicked for not running anti-cheat shortly after.

Just out of curiosity, if it’s a anti cheat problem or a USB port problem, why does the game allow me to play some days but not others? I would say I can play it 15-20% of the time, the rest it just freezes

Good question - for me it happens 100% of the time and I am tempted to give up on Apex.
I must say, having had no response whatsoever from the support team on this is baffling. It's an extremly frustrating issue, and there is not even a word on whether the devs are even aware of the problem. Very dissapointing performance of the Support Team.
