Make sure x64 and x86 versions of Visual C++ are running the same version because:
- If you install alot of applications or games it might cause a difference in version between x64 and x86 (So if Visual C++ 2010 x64 is version 10.0.40219.325, the x86 version needs to be also this and not 10.0.40219.1 for example)
- Check using iobit uninstaller of windows program uninstaller if you have multiple versions of the same Visual C++ running, you only need 1 version for x86 and 1 for x64 (So if Visual C++ 2010 x64 10.0.40219.325 is installed make sure to remove Visual C++ 2010 x64 is version 10.0.40219.1)
- Make a habbit if you install any new drivers, games, software or other utilities to go back and check the presense of Visual C++ versions installed as they may install different versions in the background which are maybe older (do this if you have problems running applications or games)
- If you make any removal or installation of Visual C++ make sure to restart your computer ( you can do a cold reboot by pressing ALT+F4 and selecting restart)
- Always make a backup of your current Visual C++ installs and versions so you can go back in case somethings goes wrong

While it may be a valid troubleshooting step, it is true that some games (other games installed) may not launch after you swap out VC+ that can't co-exist.

It might help but there are other issues that can cause this to happen like today I moved the game folder to an ssd and after 4 hours I managed to get it to work by disabling rapid mode from samsung.. I tried a lot of other things which didnt work...
Just in case this is something i created and its my current Visual C++ installation, you can try and get the Visual C++ installs like in the picture if it doesnt work come back to the topic and post your problem have a nice day

The answer that should have given the GM is:
Do not delete anything from your computer that is related to windows or the operation of the same computer, the problems presented are being verified and as soon as possible we will have a solution.
But for some reason nobody says that, as they expect the problem to solve itself with the patches that will come out in the future.
they only send us again and again the same guide of solutions of problems which is not in it the problem that many of us present.

@EA_Atic wrote:Hey everyone,Jumping in here to clarify a few comments on this topic.Reinstalling VC++ is not harmful to your PC and is a valid troubleshooting step to do and something we do recommend that you do if you have an issue with games. If the program is not installed then the game won't run as they are a needed program to run games with.If you have any questions let me know./AticNot reinstalling they said uninstalling versions the game isn't even supposed to be using. Which is bad advice, don't defend it... and as a community manager, too, lol.
I am not going to break older games and C++ dependent programs just to make one new game work, it's not a solution, it's a work around. This is an issue that needs a patch, not a bunch of people farting around with drivers and programming libraries in the forums.
