Never had problems this bad before on Apex legends. My entire party had lagging and game crashes.
My setup
xbox one x
24ms ping to server
350mb download fibre optic
We all tried resets and cleared macs but it continued. Lots of people are reporting this issue.
My friend has said it's because of something respawn did internally that has made lag switches easier to use so a bunch of people have been using it he even had someone openly admit he was lag switching terrible respawn EA FIX THIS

Are you serious?
A crazy thing happened few hours ago.
My random teammate dropped a level 3 light mag for his teammate but he was far away so i tried to pick it up and lag started so i couldn't pick up the item!
Then his teammate comes and picks up the level 3 light mag and then instantly lag stopped. 😱
Coincidence? I don't know. There was no lag the whole game, only this moment.- 5 years ago
Absolutely unplayable. Every time I get in into combat it just stutters and then I'm dead. The closer you are to the enemy the laggier and more stuttered it is. Lag switches being used or some terrible server coding, either way the game's dead as it stands in Season 4. Damn shame. Like I quoted on the first day of launch - Season 4 Apex Predators = Top 500 Internet connections.

Have you played the last 6 hours?
I had a nice 10 kill game and enjoyed the game, maybe it's not lagging anymore.
- 5 years ago@nailbunny11 Very unlikely that a lag switch works for this game. In a server hosted online game, lag switches do nothing and the offender will register as not moving to everyone else.
BUT, if there is a certain threshold for movement prediction that is properly timed using a software based network manipulator, then someone could potentially cheat the system. This is basically giving yourself a high ping momentarily, which could also result in "trading" kills with an opponent. Using such a tool is 100% cheating and they should be able to detect such cases and ban said accounts.
