I cannot log into my Apex Legends account after opening the game with steam

I'm having a similar issue.
When I try to login, it says "We're having technical difficulties. Please try later." But my friends have already managed to log in and play the game.

bro~ try this~ use hotspot from ur respective country provider~ connect ur pc from ur mobile phone trough hotspot~ log in into origin old account~ valla~ log in to apex~ then disconnect the hotspot while still in APEX LEGEND MAIN MENU and try to use ur own wifi or internet~ hope this help bunch of ppl~ THUMBS UP IF THIS HELP~

Yes this works for me....in the ORIGIN launcher, not in the STEAM launcher, this guy ask "how to" in steam
