i cant delete my game due to apex legends corruption in the files

One day I decided to delete apex legends because it wasn't really my game. Until a month or two later I realized all of a sudden my storage is low. I go to my programs and files and see that Apex Legends wasn't deleted. And so I went to delete it. And it said it was unable to delete and the game was corrupted. I couldn't even play it either and I have 25GB wasted and on my computer. I searched up ways to fix this but nothing really helped or seemed to work. I even tried restarting my computer just to see if it could work itself. i even re-downloaded Origins and it said the game wasn't downloaded and gave me the option to do so. I tried downloading it thinking it would fix itself but I couldn't because I didn't have enough storage since the game was already big enough. At this point I don't know what to do and I need help uninstalling this. Here are some screenshots. I didn't know how to insert image so i believe u can just copy and paste the links.

You can contact my discord for more information about my technical issues @ peejay#4382

Here it Apex Legends was shown in my control panel - file:///C:/Users/pjthe/Pictures/Screenshots/Control%20Panel.png

Corrupted file pop up - file:///C:/Users/pjthe/Pictures/Screenshots/corrupted%20popup.PNG

Origins giving me the option to re-download since it says its not on my pc -file:///C:/Users/pjthe/Pictures/Screenshots/Origin.PNG

Thank You!

  • Hey @pjbryan24 Thanks for the post and sorry to hear about the issues you had!

If you go to where game is installed and drag Apex folder to the Recycle Bin. That should work for you. 🙂

For the photos I'm sorry to say but linking your photos from your PC Hard drive I wont have access to that or be able to look up, this is why there are several sites that you can upload your photos so you can share it online.

  • Hi! so I downloaded origin a few days ago and my apex was repairing itself because I was attempting to move it to a usb, then my laptop said it's storage is already full so I deleted origin (from the actual settings not just dragging it to the recycle bin) thinking the space apex took up while repairing with go along with origin. So I deleted origin but the space that apex took up won't go back, I tried searching but I think I'm the only one with this problem so I don't really know what to do. Please respond i only have 1 GB left
