I changed my name in ea but it doesn’t change in apex
Me and my friend have been trying to change his name in apex legends we’ve tried several times but it never changes in game.

Edit your basic information
- Go to your EA Account and Billing Settings.
- Click on the About Me tab.
- Click Edit next to:
- Basic Information to update your EA ID, Display Name, Real Name, and Date of Birth.
- Email Address to update your email that we have on file.
- Regional Settings to update your country of residence or language.
- Type in the code we send you to confirm your identity, then change away!
My name recently changed in apex but not anywhere else in Xbox or even in my EA account. It's very annoying as it's changed how I find friends and I don't like being referred to as "Matthew" when that's far from my real name or handle
