I play Apex every day but Ea banned me because of a hacker

I play Apex almost every single day with friends. 3 months ago I was banned because ea saw "suspicious activity" on my account to which 2 out of the 4 ea representatives admitted that someone was trying to use my account from an IP address that wasn't even in America where I live. After alot of time, stress, and a lot of phone calls and emails the ban was overturned after I reset everything including my passwords and email exactly as they said.

Now here I am 3 months later and my account was banned again. Idk what's going on. They never give me a reason unless I speak to an ea rep and inquire in detail what happened and even then they only tell me so much. I am being harassed by someone or there is a serious bug in the system. I had gotten an email to verify my identity 4 days before the ban and I never spoke or msged anyone, so I assume that was the hacker and then when neither him nor I answered the verification email (I had no idea they had even msged me until the ban) they banned my account for "suspicious activity."

I have made so many cases before and now this time. I changed all of my passwords and proved my IP address. I have invested time and money into ea games over lots of years from the 360 days and probably even earlier than that. So the question stands, what can I do? Who do I ask for help? Do I hound ea for not having better security or helping me with this the right way the first time? Should I be upset that they didn't try another way to reach out to me and ask what is going on? I missed the end of my battle pass, getting the next rank before the end of the season, and I had to use my wife's account and spend money just to play the new character not to mention that I still have 11 more locked on her account where's mine has all of them.

This is costing me stress, money, and most importantly time invested into ea and their games and now hours upon hours trying to find a solution to this. Should I get a lawyer? The last time I was on the edge of doing that as it costs me time and money and I was mad. Now I'm tired but I will not let my investment just be thrown underneath the rug because ea is choosing to not fix this issue to which I am an innocent bystander who has a family and works every day and comes home to play apex for a few every night.

So my question for "Ea Ask For Help" is, should I get a lawyer? Or should I trust that eventually someone will msg me back and tell me how this will be fixed or even how I can help fix this. With the horrible "contact us" option leaving me sitting here for hours if not days my options seem very limited on which route to take. So please help me find out what I should do.

Note: also I already reset all of my passwords last time and set it so I'd be emailed if someone tried to access my settings or account. So please don't give me a generic computerized response on what I should do I need genuine help.

@z54jvcjmgh Right, since the account was compromised our team will just need to make sure it's now secure before re-enabling access.

On that note, while it makes perfect sense to create a case regarding a banned/suspended account, in this situation I'd suggest using the options The EA app  | PC  | Manage my account  | Hacked account when creating a case instead.

The contact options can vary slightly based on your location and the time, but I'm currently seeing the option for a phone callback or email with those selections. Alternatively the Twitter/Facebook options are typically a bit faster than email as well and would be the next closest thing if you're not getting a live chat option.

    Hey @z54jvcjmgh,

Sorry to hear you've had to go through such a hassle when just trying to play some Apex.

From the look of things, someone did indeed access the account illegitimately, but it appears the ban was removed and just requires support to finish securing the account before you'll have access again.

I would definitely make sure you've gone through these security steps as well, aside from the password resets you've already mentioned.

After that, you will need to have an advisor re-secure and activate the account. I do see you had created a new case recently where they should be able to assist with this, but I would suggest using the live chat or phone callback options if possible, or you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead if either of those are options for you.

  • Thank you for replying. This is what my ban history says on my account. So what you're saying is that the term "overturned" on my cases means I just need to go through the process of making my account secure again? And also, when you input the "contact us" option through ea help, it never gives the option to contact anyone other than through your email so how could I choose live chat or a phone call. The last time months ago I was able to do it but I think I was given a link or something.
