In-Game Crashes in Apex Legends Season 22

Hello Apex Legends Support Team,

I am experiencing frequent crashes while playing Apex Legends on my system. Here are the details of my setup and the issue:

System Specifications:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4600G
  • GPU: Integrated Radeon Graphics
  • Motherboard: MSI A320M PRO-VH
  • RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz (running with A-XMP Profile 1 enabled)
  • Storage: 1TB HDD + SSD SATA
  • OS: Windows 11, 64-bit

Issue Description:
While playing Apex Legends, the game freezes for a few seconds and then crashes, causing my entire PC to restart. Sometimes I can play one or two games at most before the crash occurs. This issue started after the latest update (as of January 14, 2025).

Game Details:

  • EA Account Name: GunjouQuacks
  • Platform: Steam (PC)

Steps Taken to Resolve:

  1. Enabled A-XMP Profile 1 in BIOS to maximize RAM performance.
  2. Allocated 2GB of RAM to UMA Frame Buffer Size for the integrated GPU.
  3. Lowered in-game graphics settings to reduce load.
  4. Played the game using DX11 instead of DX12.
  5. Added the following custom launch options:
    +cl_interp_ratio 1 +cl_forcepreload 1 -high
  6. Disabled the in-game overlay.
  7. Verified the integrity of the game files multiple times via Steam.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I suspect the problem might be related to memory allocation, driver issues, or compatibility after the recent update.

Request for Assistance:
Could you please investigate and provide any solutions or patches for this issue?

Since I do not receive any crash logs or error messages when these crashes occur (which have happened 7 times so far), I am unable to provide additional information beyond what I have shared. I would appreciate any guidance or fixes you can offer to help resolve this issue.

Thank you for your support. I hope to resolve this issue soon and get back to enjoying the game.

  • Additional Information:

I suspected that the issue might have been caused by AMD Software when I enabled the Anti-Lag feature, but after disabling it, the problem persisted.

What’s puzzling is that I’ve been playing Apex Legends for a few months without any issues. The game consistently ran at a stable 60–80 FPS, and my PC wasn’t overheating during gameplay. This issue only started happening recently, after the latest game update as of January 14, 2025.

I’ve also read about other players experiencing similar crashes, even those with higher-end PCs than mine. However, the solutions they applied to fix their issues aren’t applicable to my setup, making it even harder to pinpoint what’s causing the problem.

I hope this additional information helps in identifying the cause and finding a fix for this issue.
