In game low gpu usage apex legends

Lately i've been having low gpu usage ( 40 - 50%) it would sometimes go 15 or 20% in some areas of the map but then goes back to 50% for some reason i've tried changing my settings from high to low nothing happened. i even updated my gpu drivers and to the latest windows 10

Pc specs

i7 7700 3.60ghz 4 cores

Gpu: gtx 1660

Ram: one stick 16 gb ddr4

motherboard: Asrock B250M-HDV

I had the same fps drop issue, with quite low GPU usage, and I was trying to diagnose it for days...

For me, the problem was caused by "Low Latency Mode" setting (in NVIDIA 3d settings) that was set to "ultra". It turns out that fps issue is gone by either setting it to "off" or "on", it just creates problems on "ultra".

It ran on "ultra" without any problems since that setting came out, but it started to be a problem for me somewhere at the beginning of October 2020. Not sure if it's driver or game related.

@subkkonen I've had that setting off from the beginning. Is there anther solution ?
