Infinite loading screen still an issue

I still have the infinite loading screen even after the new patch that said would fix it and i seen a video yesterday saying its from linking steam account and it has not been working since i linked my account. Im looking for some help fixing this because I really want to play and I enjoy the game and it sucks that I am unable to play because of something like that if anyone knows when they are going to fix it i would really like to know because I just want to play the game again. I hope this is resolved soon because I am noticing that a lot of others are having the same issue.
