Integrity error 0x8000002

At random moments during gameplay, this error appears: Integrity error 0x8000002.

Sometimes the game even applies a penalty because of it — which is really frustrating.

The game is installed through Steam, and I’ve verified the integrity of the installed files — everything is ok. I have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed, and I'm also running the latest version of Windows 11.

  • Nirklav Usually when the game displays this error, it means that there's a program running that isn't allowed by the game.

You would need to close out of that program or uninstall it to play the game.

I don't think this is related to my issue, because I'm not executing anything during the game.

Nirklav It could be a background program or one you use for other things, (such as a controller).

The only two that I know of that's blocked by the game is "DS4Windows" and "reWASD".
