I'm invisible on steam, people see me playing on the apex friends list. I dont want to be shown up as playing in game. i want to be invisible just like in origin.

From my testing it is the case that the game does not factor in Invisible status on Steam. We'll escalate it for a further look.

At this moment I really don't think EA assume this issue as a bug.This is something that should work as the way we perceive and we can rightfully demand so, but I am sure there aren't many people even recognize this as the problem.And that pushes this issue against their priorities. Maybe better late than sorry.

Then your steam has some multi-vitamin issues . kindly give steam some sunlight and vitamin D . XD give it some time they will fix it

Hope to see the fix in 2021..
@EA_DavidMaybe the upcoming update has the fix? The friend list is a mess currently. If you check the friends from Steam who has synced their EA accounts, both accounts show up at the top. The same user one as online from Steam and another as offline from Origin.

im still getting the same issue.
cant appear offline when steam is set to appear offline. my crossplay friends can also see it

Yup. The issue is still persistent. The Steam client ignores all the status/privacy setttings.
