Joining a party and crashing

I have been having what seems to be a unique issue where I can't party with anyone.

I can solo queue fine and get into a party, but when I try go into the menu screen to party with friends they show as level 1 and then my game just crashes instantly.

If I change any settings in the settings menu, nothing comes to fruition.

I am currently trying to create a new Origin account to see if this will work. Next will be uninstall and re-install the game.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

  • I have figured out how to solve this.

    Open cmd/windows powershell in administrator;
    Type in "netsh winsock reset";
    Done.

  • Tried creating a new account and playing the game. Didn't work. Currently uninstalling and re-installing.

    Still having the same issue even with re-installing and using a different account. Don't know if it's graphical or anything. I can't find a single other person online with the same problem.

    One thing I notice is that when I am in-game or crash my origin shows I have played 25 hours and played on todays date. Once I crash it then shows only 10 hours and the last time I played is the 7/2 which is the last time I actually played this game fine without crashing when I invite teammates or join teammates. I can solo queue and play the game fine without crashing. I have re-installed everything, flushed DNS, uninstalled gpu drivers, ran everything as administrator. The only issue is if I run anti-cheat as admin it won't load the game. Everything else will load, but it the game crashes once someone joins. The only success I have had was last night where I was waiting for friends and was looking through the legends/armory etc and a yellow ! message came up and said 'the party leader has left' which was weird as I was not in a party, after they finished their game I could join them and all was fine. I was also downloading the game at the time (playing at 39%). Had a couple of games and then once it hit 100% it said that it needed to reconnect to get the full benefit of it downloading. Reconnected and had the same crashing issue again.

    same here, it happened from 2 days ago, however i could invite my friends before 2 days,

  • Same here! I can invite friends to my team but after they joined the lobby for about 10 seconds the game crashed without any error message.

  • Resolved the issue after about 6 hours of troubleshooting.

    The only thing that worked was to reformat the computer. Took a while to 1) Work that out and 2) To actually do it, although it did resolve the issue.

    Hopefully a patch will come out shortly where you don't need to do this to resolve it.

    GL HF.
