Lagged

Ever since the last update I am having bad connection issues. I am constantly lagging. I tried everything. Please comment your suggestions. I thought it was the new modem but Xfinity couldnt fix the problem. I use a netgear wifi extender and think its the issue. I also dont know if its just the game either. Im debating on reinstalling the game to see if that resolves the issue. Now since I talked to Xfinity my matchmaking either doesnt work or takes a long time.

I struggle to load into games as it keeps disconnecting me and when I finally get into a game I lag so much as we glide and then are frozen when I land I haven’t been able to play since the chaos theory event only sometimes the game would work normally but I have tested my WiFi using a speed tester every time I have this problem to see if the problem is on my end but my WiFi is perfectly fine it seems to be on apex legends end. I have been disappointed that I cannot play when I want only when the game allows

@TheHappyHurler Can we start by going through our Basic and Advanced connection steps and see if this continues? 

I have a WiFi booster with and Ethernet cable to my PS4 in my room and I checked my speed and only have 3.2 jitter and I could be not lagging and game running smoothly in rainbow six siege and change to apex and lag and freeze  and disconnect and I’m unable to do the test for a pc
