Same here, ran supremely well with 18.04 via Wine and DXVK (Same settings as Titanfall 2) - This is just total shitiness from the game development team. It costs EA nothing to allow this game to be run by Linux Gamers who frankly, are willing to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to appreciating a game. EA truly living up to its reputation.

We're hitting them on all fronts,
We tried pinging them on reddit, we asked on twitter, we got forbes and gamingonlinux journalist reaching out,
We got people blowing up emails all over.
It's just radio silence.
This is riduclous, at least acknowledges us.
See if we can stir the pot
with @ mentions.

Although this may or may not be related, Paladins (From Hi-Rez) also worked great for 3 weeks and seems to have stopped operating at around the same time as Apex (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1787) - Maybe we should also devote some time to giving Easy Anti Cheat a papertrail too, since they list many partners (https://www.easy.ac/en-us/partners/) who do have perfectly good Linux Native copies of their games which we can already play online with windows players - without issue.
I also want to throw it out there to our mates on windows, playing alongside you folks while using our OS of choice is literally top of the list of reasons we are begging developers to let us onboard. As I've said to those on Paladins, its been great enjoying the game with you and hope to be allowed to do so in the future!
