I've rm -rf the apex wine prefix on my system today, I'm moving on, seeing there is no response from the Devs or EA, or EAC. no point in having 25GB of a useless game on my ssd.
Wine devs are not going to be able to fix or make EAC compatible due to how EAC works, attempting to do so, would be circuventing the anti-cheat, creating a slew of legal trouble.
It seems like EAC is being used against Valve in the Stores/platform wars against EPIC.

@Mad_Professor86 Same here, I removed the game. Utter crap EAC not worth it, something that worked great they go and break it and on top of that NO ONE gets back to us!
I have the same problem. EAC link for WINE is not found anymore. 😢
