@Mad_Professor86 and @Echo_Nightmare. Although I understand the sentiment I think its important to realize it was weekend. This comparability issue most likely isn't the big thing they're focusing on in the eyes of the upper management Management of EA and Respawn. Especially if you take the overnight success into account and the strategic choices they have to make to keep this F2P title popular (and thus relevant) in the coming months.
With that in the back of my mind I can see the them holding off on any official response in the last few days. However I do expect to hear at least something this week. Community Managers and Devs that are browsing these forums should bring it to their attention to and giving the popularity of this thread make at least some statement.
Thinking this has something to do with "The Store Wars" is an interesting thought, I'll think this over the coming days, but I'm not convinced yet that this is a sensible move in that context.
+1 For Linux support. Heard about this game from one of my friends and watched a few streamers. Installed it with wine and launched out of the box and then the EAC error.
