Linked EA and Steam account together for twitch drop, account data gone

This will happen when your account is unlinked and linked again. I took a look at your account and can see that's the case. Unfortunately, we're not able to recover all the content that was lost.

will anyone who has had there account wiped get there stuff back or is it gone forever because I’ve spent money in game and it’s all gone because of the cross progression unlink issue?

Accounts haven't been wiped. You just don't have access to anything on it due to unlinking. You can relink your account again after 6 months pass.
