Linking my xbox account to my steam account

Hey, So recently i've bought a PC and i wanted to transfer all my progression over to my steam account. But it ends up it was linked to a random steam account the name was something weird like "yftuw" and i don't understand because i've never tried to link my account. I've only ever linked it to my xbox account. But now it says i can't like my steam account because it was linked to the other one. It says linking is only once in a lifetime please i need someone to help me fix this. I will drop a photo to show what it says when i try to link my steam account.
