Over 24 hours since the issue started and absolutely no word from EA. The chat support is a LLM and contacting anything besides a robot seems to be impossible. Ban appeals are autoprocessed with boilerplate responses. Why should I ever purchase anything again in-game if I might lose my account due to bad quality assurance and a appeal system that is complete bogus? Also wondering why a native port is not availble, since the tooling is there. Source engine is a nobrainer when it comes to porting to linux. As someone working in the software industry I’m unable to understand why not support multiplatform especially when the technologies used have great multiplatform support to begin with. The costs are next to nothing on a project of the scale of a AAA multiplayer game.
