I'm not fully aware if EA is removing the ban based on some automated process or if it's manual and requires that I pronounce myself here.
so lets go.
same situation as everyone here. I have been playing in Fedora linux  (steam) since the games has been available on linux. (played on windows/origin before)
This is are my launch options: DXVK_ASYNC=1 mangohud %command% +fps_max 0 -dev

havent been unbanned yet. Tested in game.

following up: I'm still able to play but I also still have an active ban in my history. /shrug

Same here. I was able to enter the firing range on saturday, and for some reason the ban history still says that my ban is active.

I guess it's not a high priority to change that page when a ban is removed. It should be automated, but that's just my opinion.

The trello page case  hasn't been changed, so I wonder if they've completely figured out what the problem is.

An update about my situation: Still Banned for now, trello has not been updated, checking if I'm unbanned (via entering the firing range) again tomorrow.

Edit: My ban history still shows "active," and no emails yet, but I've been able to play since Saturday.

I have not played since saturday because I am worried I will be banned again, so has anyone who is unbanned played since then, is it safe for me to start playing again?

Yes, it is totally safe. They fixed this bug 

@IGORS7999 Congrats on the unban, it was a blast shouting into the void with you back in March about our bans. Maybe your 200 ban appeals made the difference, since I'm still banned and only made one haha. I also think the unban of your account is really interesting, since it means your account was banned for the same reason a lot of people were banned for during the recent banwave.

Some others are still waiting for unbans so it's probably not totally fixed. I stopped caring about this banned account with $0 spent and 80 hours played since I can play on an alt for some reason, but it is a huge injustice to @RacsuChile and anyone else who has dropped thousands of hours (and hundreds of dollars) on their banned accounts. I also think it's a stain on the reputation of this anti cheat.

I get that the silent treatment works for the average 'I got falsely banned!' thread, but when something is obviously wrong, the lack of communication just looks terrible. This is the second time this year we've had a false banwave. Some of us are still banned, and there's still no indication whether all the bans will be fixed, or even if anything has been implemented to stop this happening a third time. Could someone at EAC please update us?

Still banned, no real updates for today.

Ok, I lose all faith in my situation and I decided to leave this, here is the big text explaining:

I'm exhausted, I don't plan to keep looking for crumbs from EA support, see how their answers are vague and how all the blessed effort I've put into this is worth absolutely nothing to them.
I have put more than 1000 dollars in the game, more than 4000 hours played, ex top 72 of world in arenas, one that got to have a good top in my country, and yet, so much time and love for this game is worth nothing if I do not receive a real answer about my case, because even though I do not regret having been able to help the community and get 75% of legitimate users in linux unbanned, I regret having thought I would receive a decent treatment to achieve something like this.

I am heartbroken, and to keep checking to see if I got an email every day or to see if some worker deigned to comment something empty is just not healthy.
I quit all this and hope I can keep it up for months, at least until the dust settles and maybe EA support deigns to review my situation one more time.

If the CM takes the time to comment again something useful or if he needs info, I will check it and respond, but I'm not wasting time commenting all over again and giving daily updates.

Also, the Trello is probably getting updated to “Resolved soon” Will see if they just move on and ignore the ones that still banned.

 @RacsuChileIt's rlly pathetic how they "solved this" and it's pathetic how seperate ea help is from respawn. My account is not banned but the ban still says it's "active" even tho it isn't.

It's rlly sad to see someone like you put all of this effort into helping us and the amount of hours and money you have put into the game.

I truly do hope you get unbanned as you deserve to keep playing on a operating system you like using.

The status on the ban history page did change for me today. I did get a strange e-mail from EA, that probably is in regard to this. It looks like they used a template, and forgot to fill in the fields.

I got an unban status email

I also got an unban email (although mine was in english, and properly filled out...), and my ban history now shows "overturned."

Although, like others have said, it's not fair that at least R4csu isn't unbanned. Considering his persistent enthusiasm for getting himself and others unbanned, and also considering the amount of time and money he's put into his account, I would be absolutely shocked if he actually cheated.

Him being banned makes me paranoid to play the game. Who knows if a R4csu incident will happen to me, where I just get permabanned because Apex didn't like some irrelevant package on my system. And honestly, maybe that's a good thing - if Apex is going to treat linux and Deck users like that, I'm not sure we should be playing or promoting it.

Although, the Trello still says "fix in progress," so maybe there's still some hope for him.

I received my unban email this morning:

"We recently notified you about a sanction placed on your EA account. After further review, this sanction has been removed."

Not sure if I'm ever gonna download the game again, just wanted to share with those who are still affected by it. Really hope respawn and co reading this focus on improving their anticheat. Hopefully things improve in future seasons, but this season ain't for me.

I just re-checked and I'm unbanned now!

I didn't receive an email about it but i could rejoin in firing squad and a normal match.

I'm still banned according to website, don't have the game installed right now so can't say for sure. Thanks @RacsuChile for keeping us updated and getting this going, hopefully we get our bans also turned soon.

Trello has been moved from "Fix in progress" to "Resolved" with the note "All false bans have now been rectified. If you are still seeing a ban, please reach out to support: https://help.ea.com/ca/help-search/?q=I+want+to+dispute+a+ban+or+suspension&product=apex-legends"

u/RSPN_Thieamy on reddit: "One last update: the team has double-checked the list in the doc and all false bans connected to the Steam Deck/Linux issue have been forgiven. There were a few on this list that had legitimate bans for various reasons, and those folks will need to go through ban support if they haven't already. Cheers again for working with us on this and for your patience."

Like I said before, I would be shocked if R4csu actually cheated, so seeing that he's still banned makes me incredibly uneasy

Just to give one last clarification on my case, I am still banned, but I maintain the fact that I am innocent until the end.

I can only think that I was banned for some reason external to the common factor that unites you, but I do not take away the fact that my ban is unfair, I am horribly confused.

I have deigned to send one last letter to EA support through the link you have given, after that and probably receiving an empty reply, I will forget about the game and move on with my life, even after all the money and hours invested, I can't keep begging.

As I said, I am innocent and this situation is an injustice, but maybe by letting time pass I can fix it, let's hope that nothing like this will happen again.
