Matchmaking queue bugs out in a party - one player left outside the match
I have to restart Apex when playing in a party after each game to avoid being left out of the next match. I'm playing on PS5, with one other party member on PS5 as well, and the third one on PS4. The same issue also occurs when playing duos with only one of them. (i.e., two players on PS5 or me on PS5 and the party mate on PS4).
In more detail:
Consecutively queueing to matches (ranked / trios / duos) leaves me out of the match and in the lobby with infinite "matchmaking" status while the rest of the party gets into a game with one missing player (me). The rest of the party goes through the "Matchmaking" -> "Starting server" -> "Connecting to a match" steps and starts a match, while I'm stuck on the lobby without the "Matchmaking" text having ever changed or anything else happening.
Current workaround:
Leaving the Apex lobby via "return to title screen" and getting a new invite to the lobby. This works only most of the time, sometimes I'm left in the lobby when the party starts the match even after resetting the lobby. Additionally, it seems that chance of me being left in the lobby increases over time, i.e., the longer the party spends in the lobby without matchmaking the higher the chance that I do not enter the next match. Further, it seems that opening any menus such as the "Legends" screen increases the chance that this bug/issue occurs.
This has been happening since past summer, ~July/August 2023.
