Microphone not detected in Apex (Win 11 condition, works for other games)

Honestly I was not expecting anyone to reply...... So thanks for just showing up.

Here's the DxDiag.txt. The sound input has some bug due to the fact that I was running a * speaker with no specific brand name during the test (I think). I use Kingston's HyperX cloud flight wireless headset when I'm playing the game for reference (Mic and sound are all-in-on).

So just to make sure, even without the speaker connected it still isn't detecting your mic in Apex Legends? If you look at your Windows sound settings at the same time Apex Legends is running, does it show that your mic is set as the input device? 

Yes, that is correct, the speaker is irrelevant in this case. I have used three different sets of microphone and none of them works...... (2 usb ported and one with 3.5mm headphone jack). The sound is 100% during apex games as I would communicate with my friends in Discord, teamspeak. Literally the only game that does not respond with my mic is Apex.

Did you ever have the chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes a difference? You can find more details on how to set up a Clean Boot at the EA Help website. Once you have the chance to give it a shot please let me know how it goes. Thanks! 

Yeah I performed the clean boot and nothing changed. The mic itself still works when I use another app, but apex itself is completely dead

The following step on the website says "present the MSinfo" to the case, I will assume here is where the case is?

I was curious about something. Looking at the DxDiag you attached earlier, it looks like it had a problem when it tried finding your video capture devices. Do you have a webcam connected to your PC?

Have you tried running the Windows System File Checker to test and see if that makes a difference? If there's an issue with any system files that could be causing this to happen that may do the trick. You can find more info on how to run the tool over at the Microsoft Support website. Please let me know how that goes when you have the chance. Thanks again. 

@EA_KentSo I got the system file check done, and now the game, after a 7GB update, told me that the game is misplaced and has to be reinstalled. Great

PS. I have tried the repair. It did not work.

Sigh...... this is like the third time having to reinstall the bloody game. Is there like another proposal that is useful before I uninstall the game?
