Microphone not detected in Apex (Win 11 condition, works for other games)

Like the title, I filed a post on the bug section, but I'm not sure if this is the one or the bug section is the one...... So I guess I'm posting both.

I do not know what to do with this, and frankly texting and telling people what I'm doing is absoluetly a pain...... I am literally thinking about quitting the game because I can't team up with randoms and see them just die

  • HOLLY * I FINALLY GOT IT. The mic worked, and the game can be played again.

Here are the steps I did to make it possible.

    1. Check if it's Window N series. If it's N series (european windows don't have a lot of *), so install Windows Media (windows media player isn't useful, just the windows media feature)

    2. Check if if Windows 11 is a clean install (like just go to windows/system32/dxd...... if your dxd file is 47 instead of 43, you have a very clean win 11 install). If it's a clean install, the VC++ packages will not show up and reinstalling the package will not grant you anything either, it's all too new for the current Apex game and hence it might not even boot properly. Find the older 3.5 version of it and install that one.

    3. Update everything on windows, like, update possible thing...... Sometimes the tinest * will affect the gameplay. It's extremely annoying. Repair the game, update the win system, etc.

So, during the process of finding an issue, I found this dude who offered good insights on how to install buggy features. He might be able to explain the things better than I do. TroubleChute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9isA69rn43M

PS. Thanks for the community manager EA_Kent. Thank you buddy for patiently answering my problems
