When you have the chance I'd recommend getting in touch with the EA Help team so they can pull up your account and take a look to see what may have happened with the reward.
For more information on how to create a case with them check out the EA Help website. You can also speak with them via Twitter or Facebook as well, if that works better for you.

@EA_Kent I contacted them right before I made the post here, and I was told that there is "no way to add the content once the season has ended", because customer support "won't be able to check and validate the Season 4 details and add the same", despite it being just a few hours after the season end. I still believe that I have the skin (thus the red circle), and there is some kind of a bug that is preventing me from seeing or selecting it, but if that is true, as far as I understand, customer support will not be able to help me with that. That is why I came here, hoping that maybe it will be passed on to the developers who can look into it.
