My Apex Account progress Gone

Back when battlefield came out I played the beta but didn't have an ea account to get beta codes so I made and linked all of my accounts including my PlayStation 5 account. I played battlefield no problem but months later I wanted to get back on apex legends and when I log in, ACCOUNT LEVEL 1, NO CURRENCY, NO SKINS AND NO PROGRESSION. I have been trying so hard to get it back but nothing is working. EA GIVE MY APEX ACCOUNT BACK AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ps - Ea tickets were unfortunately no help lol

    Hey Al00_M0ta,

Sorry to hear you've ended up with that progress on two different EA accounts. Merging accounts is essentially moving certain games from one account to the other, typically those without major online components or progress.

I'm afraid it's not possible to transfer actual progress between separate EA accounts, so if you have progress on two different EA accounts that you'd like to keep, the accounts would have to stay split. That said, you can try contacting support if you have a separate new PSN account you're trying to link to the EA account with your Apex progress. That's not always possible, but they'll be able to take a look and see what options may be available.

Thank you for the help midnight and I guess I may have to accept defeat but is there any way to contact EA directly for them to sort it out?

Al00_M0ta From what I know of, you unfortunately would have to choose which EA Account is linked to the platform account, (but remember the risks of unlinking the platform account):

Also keep in mind that unlinking your platform account can cause a loss in game progression and cause other progression issues in both Apex and in Battlefield.

While there is an option to merge two EA Accounts together, (which is done by contacting EA Support), that option would only merge the two EA Accounts in general, (not the individual game progressions that is stored on the two accounts).

Note: I've mentioned the ability to merge two EA Account together so you can avoid accidently losing game progression for either EA Account.

Sorry I can't be of any more help to you, (I also don't work for EA or for Respawn, so I'm not able to do anything relating to your account anyways, (nor can that be done on the forums)).

Thank you for the response. What should I do then given i can only play battlefield but my psn apex account has no progress/reset but my ea apex account is still linked to it? So there's nothing is can do?

Al00_M0ta This is because when an EA Account is linked to a platform account, it creates a lifetime link to that platform account, so even though you had linked your platform account to another EA Account, that doesn't break the lifetime link that the first EA Account has with your platform account.

What this means is that both of your EA Accounts have a lifetime link to the same platform account, (which can only be linked to one EA Account at a time), so that is why you cannot link another PlayStation Account to the desired EA Account.

Also keep in mind that unlinking your platform account can cause a loss in game progression and cause other progression issues in both Apex and in Battlefield.

    Hi midnight,

thank you for the reply.  Unfortunately, when I found my old ea account with my apex data and try to connect it to my psn account, I would have to unlink my other ea account with my battlefield saved data  on my main . So I have 2 ea accounts, one with apex data and the other with battle field data. So I made a new psn account so I could connect my apex ea account to it but it says its already connected to my main? But the apex ea account has no psn link to it so I'm so confused????

  • Al00_M0ta If you had a different EA Account in which you unlinked your platform accounts from to link your platform accounts to a new EA Account, then that would be the issue as your Apex progress is stored on the EA Account it was earned/progressed on, (which means that your Apex progress is stored on your old EA Account, rather than your current EA Account).
