Can't access game
i have downloaded apex through both steam and ea by mistake. Usually i play through the ea app, but when i opened it through steam today, i could'nt access the game and encountered this error message below. I've already tried uninstalling, repairing and reinstalling the game but i still face the same issue. commandline: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends\r5apex_dx12.exe" -steam -game R2 title: Fatal Error - Engine Error error: [DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED] : 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.
[PC] [Bug] Sept 16 update: Tab crash, resets, disconnects, loading
Platform: PC (Steam) After the September 16 update, the game has serious problems, including the following: 1. When entering the Firing Range solo, during loading I get sent back to the lobby and receive a message saying I have been disconnected from the server. (I am not sure whether other solo modes are affected.) 2. My personal game settings are reset. 3. When the game first opens, it is extremely laggy and unresponsive. Every screen is very laggy, and it takes about 5 minutes for it to return to normal. 4. Most items in the in-game store are stuck on an infinite loading spinner; only a few display correctly. 5. The notification panel in the bottom-right corner is stuck on an infinite loading spinner and cannot display normal information. 6. In multiplayer matches, pressing Tab to open the inventory causes the game to crash directly to desktop with no error message. While browsing Chinese communities, I saw people mention that opening enemy death boxes or Loba's Black Market can cause similar problems. 7. I have already verified the game files. I was still playing ranked the day before the update (September 15), and everything was normal before the update. I am confident this was caused by this update. There are many similar reports in the Chinese community, including negative Steam reviews from players who encountered similar issues. Additional note: The September 16 update was released at 2:00 AM. As of now (September 24, 2:30 AM), 8 days have passed, and the game still has all of the above issues. I have seen related discussions on the EA forums, but there is no very clear and simple solution. The methods discussed in the Chinese community are too complicated, including creating a separate Windows account just to play Apex, changing the Apex save file location to avoid Chinese character issues, or modifying the registry. I am worried these methods could be detected by EAC and lead to a ban, so I cannot use them. In summary, could EA or Respawn please let us know when these issues will be fixed, especially the crashes and loading problems? This is very important to me. I have played almost every season since Season 6. However, this bug has made the game completely unplayable for me, and this occurred even after I purchased the battle pass for the current season.Orientation locked
Returning player to Apex I think the last time I played apex was back when Revenant got added I thinkin season 4 or 5. So I made a new EA account and downloaded it on the EA app. I complete my Road to Rank quest fairly quicky as I noticed I wasn't playing real people The Problem I realized I had unlocked ranked with somehow without completing my orientation matches. At this point I've played likes 50 games and anytime I played without my friends I would play bots. The only way I can play ranked is if I ready up for an unranked game in someone else's party and they switch it to rank. But i cant solo que. Normally I would make a new account or just use steam but I already spent money on the new account. Need Help I have no idea what to do. Ive done everything from repairing the game files to going to EA help(not helpful at all) and this is a last ditch effort to save my account. What do u mean I get a 10 minute ban and a penalty in rr when I’m playing SOLO AND IM THE ONLY ONE IN THE TEAM HONESTLY U SHOULD FIX UR SERVERS CAUSE SOMETIMES IM THE ONLY ONE ON A TEAAM! I’m not letting this go cause I lost a lot of rr just by abandoning u better get me that rr or im gonna rant my life in this forum by how shttg ur game is i also get dumb teammates wtf?
