Yes, I did. I changed my name multiple times on steam, and it changes in the main menu of the game, but as soon as I join a game (any game mode) it changes to the two empty boxes. When I return to the menu again, it changes to what it is on steam. My friends also see my name as two empty boxes in game and normal in the menu.
