@EA_Mako Are you sure that is the same problem that we are having? None of us got an error code and it still doesn't launch in DX11 but the [DX12] seems to indicate this is a dx12 bug? I have an i5-3570k and it's not one of those listed.
I tried:
- Using nvidia control panel debug mode: nope
- I went into bios and disabled all overclocking but that didn't work
- That suggested driver is for newer GPUs and I think windows 11 (which I don't have)
- for the sake of it I tried rolling back to a driver in June but that didn't work.
So none of the workarounds worked for me.
This could be the same bug/problem, I don't know but I wanted to make sure because it would suck to have that one fixed but still be in limbo over here. Thanks for working on it!
EDIT: Also that card on trello says: "RSPN_Thieamy added this card to Game Status Dec 18, 2024" which is way before we all started crashing on January 7th with the update. So I am confused how it can be the same bug?
Should the DX12 version of Apex work on the GTX 660 at all? The DX12 feature level there is only 11_0.
