Nintendo Switch says Linked Account Found but linked to wrong account

Hi,

I am trying to link an EA account on my switch. 

When I log in, it says “Linked Accounts Found” and it tells me that this account is already linked with another Nintendo account. 

However, when I go to the account it says it is linked to and I then go to my Ultimate team, it opens an account that is linked to a different email address. 

I know this for sure because when I log into the companion app on my iPad using this account, it is not the email address that I am trying to log in with. 

So it seems like I have two different EA accounts linked to one Nintendo account. Is this possible? And if so, is there any way that I can remove one of them?
